Tigers on Trains released an LP a couple of years ago in 2009, titled "Grandfather." It features carefully crafted melodies and guitar arrangements, behind calm vocals with pensive lyrics. Not only is the music great, but the lyrics are top-notch too. Take this line as an example, from the track Sea Weed:
"Getting reborn, well it hurts like a bitch, I do not recommend it.."
The whole album sounds like it could be a live recording, which is refreshing. Highly recommend this album, especially if you're into folk and that kind of sound. Check out these tracks from the album.

Tigers on Trains - Sea Weed
Tigers on Trains - Just Be Glad That No One Saw You
Tigers on Trains - Silk Road

You can stream and buy the album on bandcamp here. It's only $6.50 too!
