I've been bumping this album on my MP3 player for the last month or so, and I can confidently tell you that this album is one you don't want to miss out on.
This is more than just a hip hop instrumental album, these beats come alive. Most of the tracks on 'Drum Machines Have No Soul' start like a sequence; they start minimal, and evolve into their own unique forms. I'm getting a bit of an RJD2 vibe, especially on "Electrocodone," which is awesome. The album's mostly instrumental, except for the last two tracks which feature Jondis and Junclassic respectively. This album is like a lesson that will teach you what it means to make a good beat.

Three tracks you should check out: Electrocodone, Be Outside, 1 Too ft. Jondis. These are my favorite cuts from the album, but there isn't a dud on there. Check out the entire album here on bandcamp, as a name your price, pay what you want download. Plus, 10% of all proceeds go to a great cause, St Jude's childrens hospital. You can listen to the album below.
