Seattle hip hop artist Macklemore, teamed with talented producer Ryan Lewis, dropped this track as a single in January. They launched a kickstarter campaign to fund the video, and have been working on it with director Zia Mohajerjasbi for months.
Yesterday, the video was released via XXL Magazine. The song was a really interesting take on consumerism and how prominent it is in our culture, especially in sneakerheads. The video, with its amazing production values, just adds to that. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are on the rise, having performed at opening day at Safeco Field this year. Also look out for Zia Mohajerjasbi!
